Fantastic Bookstore with Friends

In this dream, AM and RS and AG and I were all in this ... just phenomenal bookstore. Books in every nook and cranny. To get into the room that has the mystery novels, you had to give a secret code. To get to the fantasy books, you had to roll a 20 sided die. And books were just spilling out everywhere. It was crazy and awesome and we all found the different sections we liked...just spent hours poring through the books. And there was also music and rock music memorabilia and stuff. And I won a contest and the prize was to go hang gliding ... with MILEY CYRUS ... ha ha! but the hang gliding was fun.

The Spa and Rock, Paper, Scissors

This dream had a few parts. There was a very small spa that I went to that had pink sinks, and where the water entered the sink, there was a filter that made the water smell like flowers. This, however, was safe and all natural. It was in a mall. I wanted to get my hair cut there and nothing else, but they had a special on microdermabrasion so I figured I would do that as well.

There were two other women there who were doing the same thing. They both got theirs done before me. The aesthetician used some kind of sanding-like tool on their faces, then after that covered it in a gel. It was apparently a slightly painful process. I realized that maybe I should take a raincheck on this since I had an open wound on my forehead. I do not know how the wound got there. I decided I'd get a massage instead, but forgot to ask her for that, so I left and said I'd come back another day.

Later in the dream, there was a group of people participating in a scavenger hunt. One of the items on the scavenger hunt list was to get a photograph of "giving the middle finger in Rock, Paper, Scissors." So most groups turned in what was the most obvious thing: Two people playing Rock, Paper, Scissors, but one of the people giving the middle finger instead. One group though was not familiar with the game, so they went out and got a rock, a piece of paper, and a pair of scissors, and drew someone giving the middle finger on each of them with a permanent marker, then took photos of that.

I woke up laughing.

The animals race for no apparent reason

A group of animals were all racing down a hill. As long as they ran, they stayed thin. After some time, most of them got fat and dropped out of the race - the rabbit, the turtle, and the warthog. Only the frog kept at the race, and kept going even after everyone else had dropped out. The other animals thought he was crazy, so they went to the bottom of the hill to find out why the frog was in such a hurry.

At the bottom of the hill was a temple with stairs leading up to it. The frog raced up the stairs and deposited two quarters in a box on the right side of the temple. The other animals asked him why he was in such a hurry.

"Because if you put two quarters in this box, you get a TICKET to HEAVEN!" said the frog.

At this point, the other animals knew that it was Very Important and they should have kept racing and looking for quarters. The rabbit and warthog immediately ran out and started running up the hill, looking for quarters, so that they could race back down and put them in the box. The turtle found a quarter on the ground immediately, put it in the box, and said, "Look, now I'm halfway to heaven!"

Going to the lab

In this dream, AM was in the lab, as usual. I was bored, so I decided I would go up there as well. I went to his building with two computers - my home and work computers - and went to the floor he was on. I didn't know where he was, so I went to this small library in the northeast corner of the floor. There were a few people studying there, and bookcases lined the walls. There was an air mattress with a pillow and blanket in the middle of the floor on the northwest side of the library (near the door) that no one was using. So I sat there with my computers, logged on to Facebook, and started chatting with AM. After some time, I finally mentioned that I was actually in his building and wanted to come see him. I asked where he was, and he told me he was on the southeast side of the building.

I picked up my work laptop, but realized it didn't make sense to bring both laptops with me. I locked the second laptop and left it on the air mattress, and tucked my Brown Monkey (my favorite stuffed animal) into the blanket so other people would realize that the computer was in use and it belonged to someone, and they might feel guilty about stealing it if they saw that a stuffed animal was watching.

I went to the southeast side of the building, where a door was open to a computer lab. AM was there, and we chatted for a few minutes, but he couldn't talk for very long because he had another classmate, Steve, coming to discuss something with him. After some time, two guys came down the main hallway: a tall, thin guy with brown hair, and a short, fat blond guy with a buzz cut. The tall guy was Steve, and AM said hi to him as he entered the room and began setting up his computer. I figured it was best to leave at this point, and the other guy was also leaving at the same time. AM went to hug me goodbye, but ended up trying to hug the blond guy instead, realized that it wasn't me, and quickly tried to turn it into a handshake at the last minute. The blond guy tho gave him a "bro hug" which was kind of awkward for everyone involved. I was highly amused and went away at that point, to save AM the embarrassment. I went back to the library and continued playing on Facebook.

About half an hour later, AM calls me to tell me he wished he had milk or creamer for his coffee. I told him to check in the refrigerator for the biology department. He told me that was disgusting because that was where they kept their petri dish experiments. I said that they didn't keep their experiments in the milk jug and he really should just get some milk if they had any. He hung up thinking I was crazy, with me thinking he was simply not resourceful.
